What is Business Context Graph?

A Business Context graph (BCG)  is an interconnected dataset that's been enriched with meaning. It allows for Diwo’s applications to use reasoning against the data sources. This reasoning is then applied to support complex decision-making.

Databases typically have very static and shallow context. This poses a challenge for all other types of intelligence.  The inclusion of the Business Context graph allows Diwo to use not just surface insights but to identify an opportunity to improve against a key metric and then propose a specific recommendation inferred by the uncovered opportunity.  This is made possible by an additional semantic which greatly enriches the underlying data. The addition of semantics drives the capability to infer meaning from the graph which is critical in decision intelligence.
